The recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute on disinfection measures for avian influenza do not mention skin disinfection because it plays no part in the transmission of influenza viruses.
If a product effective against influenza viruses is needed for skin disinfection, we recommend Softasept® N, which has limited virucidal activity.
